Bolton line up England return for Kluivert - March 18, 2006

Bolton Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce is weighing up a shock move for former Newcastle flop Patrick Kluivert.

Hitman Kluivert, 29, has struggled to make an impact at Valencia this season and is keen on another stint in England.
Allardyce is desperate to attract a goalscorer to the Reebok Stadium this summer with his lone striker Kevin Davies unable to find the net on a regular basis. He has scored just four times this season.
Kluivert, who also used to play for Barcelona, would be available for around £2.5million.
