Fowler delighted to open Liverpool account - March 16, 2006
Robbie Fowler was delighted to get off the mark for Liverpool in yesterday's 5-1 thumping of Fulham.
Fowler had seen THREE goals disallowed before last night.
But after notching his 172nd goal for the club, Fowler beamed: "I'm pleased to get off the mark again.
"It's been a long time and people have pointed out that fact.
"But I'm on my way again. Another pleasing thing is that the other strikers have scored as well. That takes the heat off us a bit."
Fulham chief Chris Coleman said: "The two goals in the last two minutes make it look like they smashed us but I can't criticise my players for that performance.
"Now we have to go into Sunday's game with Chelsea believing we can get a result."
