West Ham's Ferdinand: Redknapp set for hot welcome - March 17, 2006
West Ham defender Anton Ferdinand is convinced Harry Redknapp will receive a hot welcome on his return to Upton Park.
Ferdinand said of the Portsmouth manager: "When I signed schoolboy forms, Harry was the manager.
"He did well for the club but our fans are passionate and like the manager who is here now. The atmosphere will be white hot.
"If that means giving Harry a hard time, then so be it. I spoke to a lot of fans and they really like Harry but it will be a bit of a mix of emotion."
