Agent: No Real Madrid contact over Arsenal's Cesc - March 15, 2006
The agent of Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas says he hasn't had any contact from Real Madrid.
Recent comments by new Madrid president Fernando Martin, which saw him sing the praises of Fabregas, have only increased rumours of an impending transfer to the Spanish club.
However, Fabregas' agent Joseba Diaz has ruled out that possibility.
"Madrid are not interested in Fabregas," Diaz said.
"I have read the comments reportedly made by the Madrid president but as far as I am aware, there is no interest."
Diaz revealed he spoke briefly to Martin at last Wednesday's Champions League clash between Arsenal and Madrid at Highbury but he insists Fabregas' name was never mentioned.
"I met Martin for the first time at Highbury and we talked but we never spoke about Cesc," he added.
