Chelsea defender Asier Del Horno may be set to miss this summer's World Cup finals with Spain.
The former Athletic Bilbao player has fallen out of favour with La Furia Roja after the left back failed to attend an informal 'get-together' earlier this month.
His absence far from impressed Spain boss Luis Aragones, who stated his intention not to call him back into his squad.
"The red shirt is sacred for me and anyone who does not think like that will not be going to the to the World Cup," Aragones said.
"Asier was summoned for the last get-together, but missed the plane.
"For that reason, he does not come back into the squad."
