Figo recommends Man Utd's Ronaldo to Real Madrid president

Despite his public blast at Real Madrid yesterday, Luis Figo maintains a good relationship with their board - including president Fernando Martin.
Sources close to the Inter Milan star told AS that Figo dined with Martin last week and told the Real supremo he was prepared to help him if he wanted to sign Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer.

Figo is good friends with Ronaldo and also his agent, Jorge Mendes. The 33 year-old told Martin that Ronaldo was the best in the world for his position and urged him to bid for the United star at the end of this season.
