Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso admits he fears for former club Real Sociedad.
"They're not experiencing the best of times and it breaks my heart," said the former Real star. "The change of coach obviously has unsettled things - but it is the players that win games.
"Now we can only hope that the new coach (Jose Bakero) can change the situation.
"He knows the club well and despite his lack of experience, is a football man. He is a great motivator and could be just what the players need at this time."
