Chelsea won't sell Lampard to Barcelona - March 15, 2006

Chelsea won't consider selling midfielder Frank Lampard at the end of the season.

Lampard's link with Barcelona looked more remote when the Catalans distanced themselves from making a move for him.
A senior club source is reported as saying: "There's no chance. It doesn't make any sense from our perspective. He's one of Chelsea's star players so I don't think they would sell him and when you look at our team and the quality of the players we have in midfield, we already have enough without him."
