Everton prepare fresh bid for Palace striker AJ - March 16, 2006
Everton boss Dave Moyes is lining up a £6million swoop for Crystal Palace hitman Andy Johnson in the summer.
Moyes considered a move for AJ, 25, last year but was put off by the Eagles' valuation of almost double that price.
Palace chairman Simon Jordan managed to hold on to England man Johnson despite suffering relegation from the Premiership.
But Jordan will find it difficult to hang on to his star striker if the Selhurst side fail to make it back to the top flight this season.
