Man Utd agree Fabianski fee with Legia Warsaw - March 20, 2006
Manchester United are set to agree a fee with Legia Warsaw for Polish goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.
The People says Fabianski has agreed to join United as their back-up with a view to replacing Edwin Van der Sar in the long term.
The young giant is staying tight-lipped about the transfer, but insiders at Legia reveal that the price is agreed, around £1.6 million, and the terms will be as well in the next few weeks.
United have other young keepers on their books, including Luke Steele, but Fabianski is tipped to fast-track his way into the side within a year or two.
