Rangers boss McLeish tops Sunderland shortlist

Rangers boss Alex McLeish tops Sunderland's managerial shortlist.
The News of the World says McLeish has gone on record to say that he wishes to manage on the continent, but Sunderland chairman Bob Murray has targeted him ahead of Niall Quinn and Terry Venables.
The Black Cats are on their way out of the Premiership and parted company with manager Mick McCarthy last month, while McLeish will be replaced by Paul Le Guen at Ibrox.
