Newcastle United are interested in Everton manager Dave Moyes.
The Sun says Moyes rocketed on to the Toon's shortlist after a sparkling run of form.
Moyes only signed a new four-year contract at Everton last year and has not indicated a desire to leave.
Glenn Roeder has been in charge on Tyneside since Graeme Souness was sacked on February 2.
He will keep the job until the end of the season but unless he gets his coaching badges in the summer, he cannot be considered for the vacancy.
