Hiddink offers 'apology' after touchline antics

Australia coach Guus Hiddink offered a tempered apology for his touchline behaviour on Monday night against Japan.

Hiddink was involved in a furious row with two match officials after Japan's controversial goal as he tried to view a replay of the incident on a pitchside monitor.
He later clashed with a Japan assistant coach and was caught by cameras shoving the official in the chest.
"I will slightly but not totally apologise for that," he told the Daily Telegraph. "Because everyone in the stadium can see the replay (via the big screen) but the only one who cannot is the coach.
"It's now clear there were two side attacks on the goalie. It was a clear foul."
