Park keeps South Korea on course as France flounder

Park Ji-sung grabbed a crucial equaliser against France to earn South Korea a 1-1 draw yesterday.
Thierry Henry gave France an early lead, latching on to Sylvain Wiltord's deflected shot to sidefoot home.
Patrick Vieira also looked to have scored, but the referee failed to give the goal, penalising Florent Malouda as he tried to force in the rebound.

But with 10 minutes to go Park Ji-sung punished some sloppy French defending.
The draw left South Korea top of Group G with four points, two ahead of France, who are in jeopardy of crashing out of the World Cup at the group stages for the second successive time.
South Korea coach Dick Advocaat admitted afterwards: "It was difficult for us, but in the second half we improved as the game went on. From one of the few chances we had we scored."
"We are very satisfied with a point," said striker Jae-Jin Cho.
Goalscorer Park added: "I'm not satisfied with myself but I'm satisfied with my team because we got a point against a very strong French team."
Korea's hard-fought approach to the game impressed France coach Raymond Domenech, who admitted his side were put out of their stride.
"They pushed and we were not able to retain the ball," he said.
"Perhaps we should have counter-attacked quicker and should have geared up and put more pressure on them, but it wasn't to be."
