Rooney furious with Ferguson

Wayne Rooney is furious with his club, Manchester United, over claims they were trying to stop him from taking part in England's World Cup campaign.
The Sun says Rooney has told members of the England camp he is fuming with Manchester United for trying to delay his World Cup debut.
Rooney was left bewildered and angry by all the political red-tape before his return against Trinidad & Tobago.

A phone call from United boss Alex Ferguson to his star striker earlier in the week is also understood to have increased his frustration.
Senior figures from United and the FA also debated the issue over the phone as the Premiership giants made it clear they did not want their £30million hitman to come back too soon.
Rooney, 20, was upset when United issued a statement declaring he would NOT be fit for any of England's World Cup first- round games after breaking a metatarsal bone in his right foot in April.
England boss Sven Goran Eriksson revealed: "United came out with a statement one week ago that Rooney could be ready to play only after the first three games.
"Then it was changed and they said he could play after the first two games.
"But I am stubborn and was never willing to accept that because I thought he was match-fit for the Trinidad game.
"There was a lot of discussion on that but there was never a row with anybody in the FA for example.
"We didn't want to play him in the first game against Paraguay because he was a little bit short of training and we didn't want to risk it.
"But we were convinced he should be on the pitch in the next game and I'm very, very happy that we did that."
