Ajax have snapped up midfielder Roger Garcia on a free transfer from Villarreal.
Roger joins the Dutch giants after they became frustrated in their attempts to bring Tottenham's Edgar Davids back to the club.
Ajax technical director Martin van Gel told the club's official website: "Roger has been signed for the first team.
"He is an experienced player and with him the new line-up of Ajax is complete."
The former Barcelona trainee has signed a one-year deal with the Amsterdam outfit where he will join up with former Nou Camp team-mate Gabri.
