Van Basten, the saviour of Holland

Dutch legend Johan Cruyff has fully endorsed the coaching exploits of Marco Van Basten, stating that the team is heading in the right direction.
Cruyff, in attendance yesterday at a Dutch press conference preceding today's clash with the Ivory Coast, was full of praise for the Dutch but also complimentary of the Italian and Spanish teams.
He said: "Van Basten has done a great job, he is making great inroads. This World Cup is a special one, and there is a promise of beautiful things to come.
"I was very impressed with Spain and Italy, both playing good attacking football. Brazil was disappointing, and also Portugal.
"Holland? I've said it before, Marco is a manager. You will see, this World Cup is a great opportunity for him and he will make the most of it."
