Juventus chief confirms Deschamps talks

Didier Deschamps has held talks with Juventus about the club's vacant coaching job.

The 1998 World Cup winner, who is 38, met with Juventus on Friday to discuss a possible return to the club where he played between 1995 and 1998.
"We spoke with him and listened carefully to his ideas and plans," said Juve sporting director Alessio Secco.
Engulfed in a match-fixing scandal, Juve moved former coach Fabio Capello to a general manager role last month.
Deschamps has been out of work since leaving as the coach of French side Monaco in September 2005.
He took over the reins at Monaco in June 2001 and was seen as one of France's brightest coaches as he transformed the club.
