Rooney scissor-kicks his way to England comeback

England staff were delighted to see Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney go at full throttle at yesterday's training.

First he took off in training with a scissor kick which stunned even the England coaching staff who are desperate for the boy-wonder to be fit for the World Cup.
Then Rooney flew out to Germany in buoyant spirits and now he could land on the bench in time for England%u2019s final group game against Sweden on June 20.
An England source told The Sun: "It was absolutely fantastic to see Wayne doing scissor kicks.
"It is no longer a question of if he plays but when. We think he can be ready for the Sweden game - if necessary."
It is sensational news for England's World Cup chances and has boosted the whole squad. But Rooney will be risked against the Swedes only if England need him.
