Barcelona chief tells Koeman: Reject Real Madrid - March 22, 2006
Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain has urged Benfica coach Ronald Koeman to reject any offer from Real Madrid should they come knocking.
Former Barcelona captain Koeman, along with ex-Barca coach Louis van Gaal, have both been linked with the Real Madrid job this week.
"No-one has a right to tell Koeman what to do," said Begiristain, "but I would not like to see him at Madrid.
"However, I insist that I wouldn't tell him what to do."
