Anelka denies talk of bust-up

Controversial striker Nicolas Anelka has denied rumours of another bust-up - this time with Turkish side Fenerbahce.
The recently recalled French international, whose career has been blighted by on and off-field disputes, has returned to France in a bid to recover from a knee injury amid rumours of a deterioration in relations between player and club.
Anelka has told L'Equipe, however, that he received the permission of Fenerbahce officials before departing for Paris.
"People even said I got injured intentionally but that is not true," said Anelka.
"After getting the agreement of my chairman and coach and as allowed by my contract, I came to Paris to get treatment at the Clinique des Sports with doctor Hakim Chalabi, who I knew at PSG.
"I am suffering from ligament inflammation of my left knee - the Fenerbahce staff who saw my MRI scans know perfectly what I am suffering from."
Anelka claims his sole focus now is to regain his fitness again in time for Les Bleus' World Cup programme.
"I have no problem either with the coach or the club. Why should I get into trouble with them? I have other things to do and am lucky to be back in the French team," added the former Arsenal and Liverpool striker.
"I don't know when I will play again. Anyway, it is out of the question I will not take any risks while there could be something waiting for me at the end of the season."
