Robbie Elliott fears the diving antics of Chelsea winger Shaun Wright-Phillips could end his Newcastle career.
Ell told The Sun: "I'd hoped he might have been in touch to apologise but I've not heard anything from Shaun Wright-Phillips yet."
Elliott, out of contract in the summer, fumed: "That red card could have ended my season.
"I had a lot of respect for the lad before but that's gone, it's very disappointing."
England midfielder Wright-Phillips, 24, sparked Chelsea's latest diving outrage during the Blues' 1-0 FA Cup quarter-final victory at Stamford Bridge.
The winger tumbled as he brushed past Elliott in the 90th minute, earning the defender a second booking.
Wright-Phillips said: "Anybody who knows me knows I'd never try to get someone sent off intentionally. If other people want to form their opinions it's down to them."
