Bayern Munich supremo Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has told Michael Ballack to forget about being a first team regular at Chelsea.
Rummenigge is still angry at the 29-year-old midfielder's move to Chelsea.
And the Germany legend said: "Lampard is much stronger. He is a level above Ballack.
"Ballack is good but, unfortunately, on the national stage, hasn't done well. This makes you doubt him as a great player.
"I like Lampard. He has everything you need in a world-class player and I believe he is England's driving force.
"And Bayern's farewell to Ballack was not very happy because he avoided telling the truth."
