Argentina's Messi settles for PlayStation World Cup

Argentina whizkid Lionel Messi admits the only World Cup action he's likely to see is playing his PlayStation!
The tiny winger has been struggling with a foot injury and is unlikely to face Serbia & Montenegro today with the Argies closing in on a place in the last 16.

Barcelona star Messi, 18, said: "Right now I'm resigned to following Argentina like any other fan would.
"If I have to watch the game, I watch them. And I can always try to help us win the World Cup on PlayStation!"
Waif-like 5ft 5in Messi, who suffered a hormone deficiency as a kid, has turned to his computer game to while away the time as he recovers in the hope of joining in later in the tournament.
Defender Roberto Ayala added: "Lionel doesn't say much, sometimes not even to his room-mate. He's different from the rest of us, very solitary. He spends most of his time with the games console, hypnotised by the screen."
Messi trained with the squad yesterday but avoided kicking the ball as he nurses his left foot, injured earlier this week.
