Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to offer Sol Campbell in part-exchange for Inter Milan striker Obefami Martins.
Nigeria international Martins is a favourite of Inter patron Massimo Moratti, but could be sold if an offer in excess of £15 million is received.
Tottenham and Newcastle United have already made preliminary bids for Martins, but their offers of around £8 million have fell well short of Moratti's valuation.
