Inter Milan are ready to offer £8 million for crocked Deportivo La Coruna defender Jorge Andrade.
The Portugal international is out until September with a knee injury, but that hasn't stopped Inter from accelerating transfer talks with Depor this week.
Inter representative Luis Suárez met with Andrade in Portugal recently to inform the defender of their interest. Suarez also enquired with local doctors about Andrade's recovery and was happy to relay the positive news to Inter's board.
Depor are seeking £15 million for the defender, but Inter are insisting their bid is the best the Spanish can expect given Andrade's injury status.
