Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard admits he expects Lionel Messi to be used as a pawn in this summer's Real Madrid presidential race.
The Dutchman expects one of the candidates to claim they can bring Messi to Madrid, but insists: "It is a thing that does not surprise me, because they are the strategies of these people.
"But Leo is very happy with this squad and he has one thing on his mind, to play for Barça."
Rijkaard also dismissed reports that defender Rafael Marquez may quit Barca over a contract dispute.
"I do not see a danger in his continuity."
