Man Utd's Ferguson OK with Van Nistelrooy's Chelsea move

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to give the green light to Ruud van Nistelrooy's move to Chelsea.

The Mirror says Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon has met van Nistelrooy's agent and it is understood that terms of £100,000 a week were discussed and agreed in principle.
United have given the £15million deal the go-ahead - as long as they get versatile forward Eidur Gudjohnsen in a swap.
Newcastle are also interested in Gudjohnsen and Arsenal are known to be keen - but have yet to make a formal approach.
