Watford celebrate Premiership promotion

Watford secured promotion to the Premiership with an impressive 3-0 win over Leeds in the Championship play-off final at the Millennium Stadium.

Jay DeMerit headed Watford into a first half lead and an unfortunate own goal from Neil Sullivan and Darius Henderson's late penalty were more than enough to give Watford the victory and end their six-year exile from England's top-flight.
Hornets boss Adrian Boothroyd, who secured promotion in his first season in management, had nothing but praise for his player's.
"We will start as relegation favourites next season, just as we did this season," said Boothroyd on Sky Sports.
"This is not the end, this is the beginning. We've got no big-timers; the lads love each other and work hard for each other.
"When you have that belief, anything is possible.
"There'll be a lot of clubs saying they want to 'do a Watford'. We have players who do their job - they are magnificent people."
He added: "I knew today was our day, I don't know why."
Boothroyd was almost lost for words after his remarkable 12 months.
He added: "You try to prepare as much as you can but this is incredible. I don't know what to say.
"What I would say to Leeds is that it was a wonderful game and I'm sure they'll come back."
