Real Madrid have ordered Antonio Cassano follow a strict diet over the summer.
Real directors are dismayed over the Italian's weight problems since his arrival in January from AS Roma.
Cassano has been told not to touch any soft drinks, beer and sweets ("which he loves a lot," admitted a Real source).
An unnamed Real director said: "Cassano has one of the highest body fat percentages at the club and has done little to try to get it down in the last months."
Cassano's strict diet regime will begin on July 7. He will be fined for every gram he is recorded as being overweight.
