Big-spending Austrians Red Bull Salzburg are chasing Juventus midfielder Pavel Nedved.
Red Bull Salzburg owner Dieter Mateschitz is bankrolling an ambitious bid to prise Nedved away from Juve for the start of next season.
They have recently appointed Giovanni Trapattoni as sports director and Lothar Matthaus as coach and Red Bull Salzburg chiefs are confident that Nedved will be persuaded to join the Austrian glamour club.
