Tim Howard has revealed he is more excited about signing for Everton than when he joined Manchester United.
The US keeper will arrive at Goodison on a season-long loan for next season and is relishing his spell on Merseyside.
"I really haven't been this excited in a long time, even when I first went to United," he told the club official website.
"There was so much anxiety then and it was so unknown, now that I've been over here and I've proven myself and I've lived there for three years, it's just excitement.
"I already know a few of the guys, the Everton fans are absolutely incredible and it's a great city as far as the derby with Liverpool. So I'm looking forward to all of that."
