Real Madrid are aiming to trump Liverpool for off contract Valencia wing-back Fabio Aurelio.
The Brazilian has held talks with Liverpool and even visited Anfield this year, however the left-sided defender failed to sign a pre-contract with the European champs.
Juan Figer, Aurelio's agent, met with the player on Wednesday to discuss all the offers he has received - Liverpool, Real Madrid and Villarreal, with the Yellow Submarines the most lucrative.
