Spain name 7 Premiership stars in World Cup squad


Spain coach Luis Aragones has named seven Premiership players in his provisional World Cup squad.

Arsenal pair Cesc Fabregas and Jose Antonio Reyes are rewarded for their impressive form in the Champions League this season, while Chelsea full-back Asier Del Horno is also included after his title-winning year at Stamford Bridge.
Liverpool have four players in the list - one more than Barcelona and the same number as Real Madrid.
The Anfield stars named in Spain's 27-man party are goalkeeper Jose Reina, midfielders Luis Garcia and Xabi Alonso, and striker Fernando Morientes.
