Venables back at Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough are set to name Terry Venables as new manager.

The Sun says the ex-England coach has agreed with chairman Steve Gibson to succeed England-bound Steve McClaren.
Gibson, on business in the Far East, wants Tel, 63, to return to the club he helped keep in the Premiership five years ago.
Venables, regarded as one of England's finest coaches, is just the man Boro need to take the club on and further nurture former Academy stars like Stewart Downing, James Morrison and Lee Cattermole.
His last job in England was a nine-month stint with Leeds. But he quit in March 2003 after failing to halt their decline.
