FA chiefs in Lisbon for Scolari talks

England FA officials were in talks with Luiz Felipe Scolari last night in Lisbon.

The Sun says FA chief executive Brian Barwick and lawyer Simon Johnson left on BA flight BA0496 from Heathrow to offer the England job to the man they want to succeed Sven Goran Eriksson.
Portuguese FA president Gilberto Madail was insisting yesterday their manager could not talk to England's top brass until after the World Cup because of a 'gentleman's agreement'.
But an FA insider said: "We met with Scolari with the full permission of the Portuguese FA."
Signs are the Brazilian, whose contract as Portugal boss ends on July 31, WILL accept the job.
