Arezzo director general Ermanno Pieroni insists they are free to negotiate with clubs other than Fiorentina for their half of Manuel Pasqual's registration.
Fiorentina have threatened legal action over Arezzo's decision, but Pieroni said: "I was not present at the time of the negotiations. I was not with Arezzo at that time, but I am sure of what my president has told me - that is that this is a free co-ownership.
"Moreover, it is normal that this player after a year is worth more."
On Juventus' interest Pieroni added: "Juventus have asked us about the player, but nothing has been offered to us in writing.
"For Pasqual there are also other teams, such as AC Milan."
