West Brom deny Peace, Robson rift

West Brom have denied reports that chairman Jeremy Peace has fallen out with Bryan Robson over his holiday in the Caribbean.

Peace has been away during a period when Albion's relegation from the Premiership after a two-season stay has been virtually confirmed.
But West Brom are adamant that Peace is on leave now to ensure he is available to work with Robson during the summer transfer window irrespective of which division the club will be competing in next season.
An Albion board spokesman said: "The chairman's holiday has been fixed for some time.
"It coincided with a school holiday period and fitted in with his plan to spend the whole of the summer at his desk, when the transfer window is open.
"The chairman has been in daily contact with the club and has watched all three games while he has been away live on satellite TV.
"He will be back at The Hawthorns in time for Monday's game against West Ham."
