Sunderland have confirmed they're in takeover talks with Niall Quinn's consortium.
The Black Cats' chairman Bob Murray said at the end of March he would consider selling the club.
And a statement on the club's website said: "The Board of Sunderland Limited confirms that it is in discussions with a consortium led by Niall Quinn.
"It may or may not lead to an offer for the company being made."
