Craioveanu slams Getafe president Torres over Real Madrid rumours

Getafe veteran Gica Craioveanu has hit out at president Angel Torres after announcing his retirement.

Craioveanu claimed Torres had not been honest with him by going back on some promises, and suggested Torres was about to abandon the club to stand in the elections for Real Madrid president.
Torres responded sharply saying the Romanian was a selfish, and denied that he was on his way out.
Craioveanu said: "Everyone knows the both of us and we'll see what the fans think during Sunday's game against Villarreal."
Getafe boss Bernd Schuster said: "It comes as no surprise this bust up, but it comes at a very bad time because we should all be focusing on Sunday's game."
Whether Craioveanu gets a run out against one of his former clubs remains to be seen, though Schuster said he was planning to allow the veteran a few minutes if the game allowed it.
