Blackburn boss wants Liverpool's Fowler

Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes is interested in Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler.

Bolton have already declared an interest - and now Blackburn have thrown their hat into the ring.
Boss Hughes, who will see Fowler, 31, close-up when Liverpool travel to Ewood Park tomorrow, said: "He is a player that a number of clubs would be interested in.
"Robbie is the type of player I would ask about and see what the situation was.
"But at the moment I think Robbie's focus is on trying to win a new contract at Liverpool and rightly so.
"His movement looks good. He has always been a very clever player and his ability to take chances is something you are born with.
"He was a top player for a long time and it is still within him to prove how great he is."
