Bolton eye Liverpool striker Fowler

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce is ready to make a bid for Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler in the summer.

Fowler wants to remain at Liverpool in the long term and scored the winner on his 31st birthday when the two clubs met on Sunday.
"You'd always think about a goalscorer like him, but it would depend on the big numbers," Allardyce told Sky Sports' website.
"If he keeps on scoring for Liverpool, they will want to keep him.
"One of their problems has been scoring, but their defence is the ultimate and it is what we are trying to achieve."
