Bolton keeper Jaaskelainen inks new deal

Bolton goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen has signed a new three-year contract.

The Finland international has been an ever-present for the Trotters so far this season and has been in talks with the club for almost 12 months.
Sam Allardyce had revealed on Thursday that he expected Jaaskelainen to pen his contract by the beginning of next week, and it was confirmed in the wake of the 2-1 defeat by Manchester United that he has done just that.
The giant keeper initially joined Bolton as an unknown from VPS Vaasa in 1997 but has been linked with the likes of United and Arsenal.
Allardyce said: "Jussi is one of the players whose value has escalated by being here, and they know it, which made negotiations very difficult. We have got on with it the best we can but this was the longest of the lot."
