Empoli president Fabrizio Corsi has confirmed he's in talks with Fiorentina over striker Francesco Tavano.
Corsi said: "Yes, Fiorentina has asked us about Tavano. His price? I will not say anything, as it would not be right nor intelligent to do so.
"There are other clubs interested, in Italy and foreign countries. But, emotionally, I say that it would appeal to me that he played in Florence, because I am first of all a tifosi of Empoli, but also of Fiorentina."
