Inter Milan are set to win the race for Ajax fullback Hatem Trabelsi.
The Tunisia international is off contract in June and has been linked with Juventus, Newcastle and Arsenal.
However, Trabelsi was in Milan on Monday with Inter insiders confirming he underwent a medical at the club's training HQ.
Inter are yet to confirm the deal, with the club not seeking to court more publicity after Sunday's attack on players by angry fans and also patron Massimo Moratti's admission he could leave at the end of the season.
