King to sign new Tottenham contract

Ledley King will reportedly end speculation linking him to Arsenal by signing a lucrative new four-year contract with Tottenham next week.

Fourth-placed Spurs are close to finalising a deal believed to be worth £60,000 a week to King.
Negotiations have taken several months to complete amid speculation that the Gunners were watching the versatile England defender's situation with interest.
The 25 year old, who currently earns around £20,000 a week at White Hart Lane, is one of the club's lowest-paid star players.
