Liverpool goalkeeper Scott Carson could be a shock inclusion for England's World Cup squad.
Norwich's Robert Green is favourite to be third choice although Carson, on loan at Sheffield Wednesday from Liverpool, could sneak into contention.
England coach Ray Clemence said: "At international level, possession is nine-tenths or the law so Robert is in a strong position.
"But Scott is also doing very well so we'll be keeping an eye on how he does."
