Real Madrid coach Juan Ramon Lopez Caro pulled out of last night's post-match media conference early following questions over the omission of David Beckham.
Reflecting on Real's 1-1 draw with Getafe, Lopez Caro was asked about the absence of Beckham and said: "He didn't play because it was my decision.
"I don't have any regrets about it ..."
He added: "We did all we could to win the three points but it wasn't to be. Now we must continue fighting."
Lopez Caro became spiky when asked why he insisted on his players training away from the watching media and also about observations that they chose to settle for the point on the night, before a club official chose to end the media conference.
