Atletico Madrid captain Fernando Torres is urging teammates to stay focused on the Liga.
During the week media speculation has gathered pace on potential new signings for the club and a new coach for next season.
Bayern Munich striker Roy Makaay has been linked with a move to the Spanish capital, while Osasuna boss Javier Aguirre has once again been put forward as a possible successor to current coach Pepe Murcia
"At the moment we are hearing lots of names of players and coaches being linked with our club," said Torres.
"But none of them will be able to help us in this final run in to the end of season. We have to do it ourselves and forget about everything else.
"I think it is only fair they allow Murcia to continue. They asked him to step in and save the club from relegation and he has done that."
