West Brom boss Robson: Lack of funds hurt us

West Brom boss Bryan Robson admits they've been left behind this season by their big-spending rivals.

Robson said: "Alan Pardew has done a great job at West Ham but he has had around £24million to spend. Paul Jewell has done a great job at Wigan but certain players he has taken like Arjan de Zeeuw and Stephane Henchoz are not on cheap wages.
"Sometimes you can only work within the budget. Both clubs have done really well to step up and it doesn't matter whether you spend money like West Ham have done, you still have to put it together and full credit to him for doing that."
